The Mobile World Congress 2017 is all set to commence from February 27 in Barcelona, Spain with smartphone majors prepping for their pre-launch events starting February 25.

Of course, the next flagship smartphones from Apple and Samsung will not be launched at the event but important players Nokia, LG, Lenovo-owned Moto, Huawei’s Honor and BlackBerry will announce their hero devices. Most of the launches will happen on February 26, Sunday.

BlackBerry Mercury smartphone launch. BlackBerry is set to make a big comeback at MWC 2017 with a smartphone with QWERTY keypad dubbed as Mercury.

The flagship LG G6 launch event. After the modular LG G5 couldn’t tickle the interests of Indian smartphone enthusiasts, the LG V20 was introduced to regain the flagship territory. But things didn’t work the way LG would have wanted it to. The big LG G6 launch will surely pave the way for the company in 2017.

Huawei is expected to launch its P10 and P10 Plus smartphone at its MWC 2017 event. Stay tuned to this space for live updates.

Lenovo-owned Moto will launch the Moto G5 and G5 Plus at its separate MWC event. While the phone has been revealed in all glory before its launch, the pricing will be crucial and something to look forward to.

Nokia will make its big comeback globally at its MWC 2017 event. While the already announced Nokia 6 will be showcased there, other budget phones like the Nokia 3 and 5 along with the Nokia 3310 is expected to be launch.

Samsung will not launch its flagship Galaxy S8 at the press event. However, the company is expected to announce the Galaxy Tab S3 tablet.

Gionee is scheduled to host its event to showcase its new phones.

The Samsung and Reliance Jio will hold joint press conference to announce a new partnership.
