Panasonic India Pvt. Ltd today unveiled its in-house developed virtual assistance ‘Arbo’. Equipped with Arbo, Panasonic unveiled two new smartphones, Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X, available exclusively on Flipkart priced at Rs 11,499 (32GB), Rs 12,499 (64GB) and Rs 8,999 respectively.
The Virtual assistant is a self-learning technology that understands the user behaviour and then maps their daily activities for them accordingly. With its ‘location identification’ feature it recognises the places often visited by the user and sends out prompt responses asking them to make changes to their phone settings. Panasonic claims that the AI-powered assistant takes care of all the daily tasks and activities like calls and messages that need to be framed and sent out on a regular basis. It also keeps a detailed list of all the applications functioning on the smartphone, gathers detailed information on their habits and informs them about it accordingly.
The Eluga Ray Max weighs 165 gms and sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with professional mode and an 8-megapixel front camera with a selfie flash. It is powered by 1.4GHz 64bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor paired with 4GB RAM and comes with 64GB and 32GB internal memory variants that can be expanded up to 128GB.
It is also equipped with a Front Finger Print Sensor in collaboration with ‘Android for work’.
The Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X run on an Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) platform, featuring a metal unibody along with USB 2.0 with OTG support, Ambient Light sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor and houses a battery capacity of 3000mAh with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and 4000mAh respectively. The 4G and VOLTE enabled smartphones – Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X comes with 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch IPS LCD Screen respectively and will be available in Gold and Space grey colour,
